About Me
Jeff Camozzi
I am a fifth-generation native of Half Moon Bay, raised in a local residential construction family. I have held a California contractor's license since 1995, and after more than 30 years in the field, I still enjoy working with my hands. As a local builder throughout this time, I've witnessed many contractors come and go. The key to my happiness and success is keeping my eyes and hands on every detail of your home's renovation. This ensures that everything is done right the first time. I also emphasize the importance of having a bit of fun along the way.
Residential work is personal, so it's crucial to trust and get along with your contractor. I highly recommend obtaining personal references. My marketing relies primarily on personal referrals and word-of-mouth. Maintaining a good reputation and keeping my overhead low allows me to stay on the coast, close to home.

We expanded the rooms on our 2nd floor to cover exterior balconies that were leaking. I got quotes from several contractors and found his cost to be reasonable. He honored his estimates so there were no real surprises (cost growth) along the way. He does all of the carpentry (demo, framing, finishing woodwork) himself, and his work is impeccable. When he hired subcontractors, we found the quality of their work to be as exceptional as his own. Jeff met or exceeded his milestones, and ended up finishing the job a week or 2 early. We just finished up our master bathroom and kitchen remodel. After interviewing a number of contractors we chose Jeff Camozzi, partly because he has a small group of subcontractors that he brings in for specialty areas but he does most of the work himself. We were very sensitive to big crews coming in and out of the house during the project. Jeff did most of the work on his own, making sure every detail was attended to, and was in regular communication with us as we were out of town during the project. He was quick, efficient, extremely professional, and contributed smart workarounds and creative ideas when needed.
